Guest Barista Day with ARC of Weld County
The Arc of Weld County, formally established in 1992, is a local chapter of The Arc national organization with a rich history marked by accomplishment. The AW provides supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families through a variety of services. Through advocacy and support services, The Arc of Weld County strives to empower people with I/DD and their families to learn to advocate on their own behalf.
This guest barista day will help raise awareness and funds for The Arc of Weld County’s annual pool party. The Annual Pool Party is a favorite event for staff, the individuals The Arc of Weld County serves and anyone who has ever attended in years past! This is a laid-back time to get together and celebrate our awesome community with pizza, music, balloons and face-painting by the pool. Did we mention the Pool? This is event is held at Discovery Bay, an amazing outdoor pool with a something for everyone, including a splash pad, lazy river, 3 story tall water slide and a T-Rex themed kiddie pool. If you haven’t been out to Discovery Bay, you really must see it to believe it. The pool party is Saturday, July 27th from 6pm-8pm.
